If you have found your way here, you are awesome! I am Vanessa, the sassy ginger. I have my dreams set high and plan to make doTERRA and crochet my full time job! My mind is all over them place with big dreams, creativity, and more ways to spread the love that is essential oils. I decided to take a leap of faith, and I quit my 40 hour a week job to live my life with passion!
I am a single mom of 2 great kids. I am currently planning a wedding for June of 2017 to a man I have lived 550 miles from for almost 2 years now. I have wanted to teach my kids that anything is possible. ANYTHING. They are not bound to what society believes they should do, but rather, they are meant to live their dreams. doTERRA and my craft are my dreams!
I crochet all the time. I talk oils all the time. My life has been taken over by yarn and doTERRA and I wouldn't have it any other way! I started my Etsy shop in 2014 and man did I learn a lot! Mostly that I was not prepared for the amazing amount of response I had to my items. I didn't have much. More like that timid little kitten who just has to test the water, reaching their paw in, and instead falling head first. That was me. I had nothing but my phone for photos and listing on the ap, a dream, and a couple of extra dollars to spend on yarn. I made enough that year to have a nice Christmas for the kids.
In 2015, I made the mistake of putting down the hooks and yarn after Christmas. I was exhausted. Over it. No idea why my items were popular, or how I was getting orders from all over the U.S., but I was ready for a break. In August, I decided to start working on fall and winter items. I should've known better! I was invited to a few local craft shows and I got to work, frantically crocheting items to have on hand. Again, I learned, I grew, I met local crafters who had some awesome feedback for me.
In the midst of all this, enters doTERRA, and my life was forever changed. Suddenly, my mind began to wander and wonder. I wondered if this was something I could do. Something that would work for me and my children. Suddenly, there was this new dimension to my dreams, and I could see my life starting to become my own once again.
Now, in 2016, I have come to a place I never thought I would be. I cannot crochet fast enough, I cannot stop talking about oils, I cannot stop pressing forward with what I love most in this life. No complaints at all, but there are days where I wonder how in the world I have been able to touch as many lives as I have been able to. I am always humbled by the compliments and the outpouring of excitment and love, be it over oils or something I created with my hands. . I have had some really outstanding customers and I have been given the opportunity to build an amazing Tribe! They, along with my family and friends have all been so supportive.
